Apple, date and tahini porridge
Creamy oat porridge cooked with grated apple, then topped with fresh apple cubes, dates and a drizzle of tahini. It tastes a bit like toffee apple, and warms you up on a cold morning.

Method
- Core the apples. Grate one, skin and all, and cut the other into small cubes. Chop the dates.
- Put the oats, the oat milk, the grated apple, half the dates, the cinnamon and a pinch of salt in a pan over a medium heat.
- Bring to a gentle bubble, then lower the heat and cook for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring often, until thick and creamy. Add a splash of water if it catches.
- Take the pan off the heat and leave for 1 minute.
- Spoon into two bowls. Top with the apple cubes and the rest of the dates, then drizzle with the tahini.
Tip Stir the tahini in a little before drizzling if it has separated in the jar. Leave the apple skin on for colour and texture.
